Notabene’s general terms and conditions are valid for any and every sale and delivery from Notabene, unless a written agreement has been entered into by you and Notabene regarding a specific purchase or delivery, or unless the terms and conditions are contrary to given consumer regulations.
When you shop at Notabene.dk, the transaction will be subject to general Danish legislation regarding purchase and contract law, including consumer sales. As a consumer you are protected by current legislation, primarily those concerning the sale of goods and consumer contracts.
Notabene will not keep an actual copy of the agreement between you and notabene.dk, but will keep a digital copy of the details of the agreement. You are therefore required to keep your own proof of trade with notabene.dk. Your delivery will contain an invoice, which will act as proof of your purchase. You will be required to provide this document in case of any complaints, refunds or possible replacement of goods.
Our prices are set in accordance with the current cost of raw materials and are subject to any changes in currency and sales tax. All our prices are listed in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include a 25% sales tax. We reserve the right to alter our prices to match any changes to the rate of sales tax. We accept no liability for any printing or clerical errors and sold out and obsolete items.
You can pay using the following credit and debit cards: Visa/Dankort, Dankort, eDankort, Visa Elektron, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, Maestro, Eurocard, Diners Club, JCB and American Express.
We won’t draw the amount from your account, until the order has been processed and sent for delivery by us. The receipt, which you will need in case of any complaints or refunds, will arrive with your delivery, so make sure you keep it safe.
When you pay for goods or services at notabene.dk using a credit or debit card, your card details will be sent from the website to payment solution provider PBS A/S via a secure and encrypted SLL-connection. Your card details are kept completely private, and will not be shared with any third party.
In the unlikely event that your order is missing from stock or we in some other way are unable to deliver, you will of course receive a full refund.
For shipments within Denmark
If you pick up the package at your local post office/pick-up location, it will cost a fee of DKK 39,00. If you want the parcel to be delivered at a private address or a company address, it will cost a fee of DKK 55,00. Should your order become damaged during delivery, you are covered by a warranty (see the section “Warranty”).
Our delivery partner will bring your order to the delivery address between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
Delivery times within Denmark
•All orders are expected to be processed and delivered within 2-3 working days. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed as soon as possible the coming regular working day.
We also partner with DPD to make deliveries to European addresses outside of Denmark. Orders to Greenland, Sweden and Norway will be delivered by Post Danmark.
When delivering outside of Denmark, we are subject to the terms and conditions of the local delivery service. We cannot therefore guarantee a specific time of delivery for international orders.

Please note: notabene.dk is not responsible for any local customs or sales taxes incurred after delivery leaves Denmark.
Should you regret your purchase, you are, in accordance with Danish law, entitled to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it. When you return your purchase, the product(s) must be in the same condition, as when you received it. The purchase must be returned in its original packaging, and you must enclose the invoice that came with the order. The costs of return is at the customers own expense.

Notabene will refund the purchase price as soon as possible, after we have received the product(s) and ensured that the returned good(s) matches the requirements for the return of goods and purchase cancelations legislation. We credit return goods every Monday, and therefore you will receive the purchase amount, at the earliest, on the following Tuesday, after we have received your returned product(s). If you have paid by Mastercard, take notice that it may take 2 weeks in addition.
You are entitled to a two-year warranty on defective or faulty goods purchased at notabene.dk. Should you, upon receiving your order, find that it is faulty, defect or the wrong product, you are required to inform notabene.dk within a reasonable period of time of receiving the product(s). Our return policy is valid for 14 days of the delivery date.
The warranty is invalidated if the defect or problem occurs as a result of misuse or any other action likely to result in damages to the product.
You can claim your warranty by sending an email describing the defect on the products with attached photos to email@example.com. If you purchased your product(s) in our physical shop at Kronprinsensgade 10 in Copenhagen, Denmark, please direct your enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also claim your warranty by returning the product(s) in question at our store where we will assess the defect. We reserve the right to correct the defect or replace the product with a similar undamaged item rather than providing a full refund.
• Once you’ve received the product, it is your responsibility.
• Notabene will not be held accountable for issues or events that fall outside the scope of Danish legislation.
• Any disagreement between yourself and Notabene will be settled according to Danish law in the City Court of Copenhagen.
When you shop at notabene.dk, we will not pass on your private information to a third party unless with your express permission. Your personal information is treated in strictest confidence and in a safe manner and only processed in order to complete your order.
If you wish to complain about a product purchased at Notabene, you as our customer are always welcome to contact our customer service. Notabene customer service can both be contacted by e-mail and phone. Our contact information can be found on our website under ‘Contact' at the bottom of our front page.

If we fail to find a satisfactory solution, you can, if the conditions are met, file a complaint to Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen, Center for Klageløsning. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PLACING AN ORDER
When you shop at notabene.dk, we collect a number of your personal details. We register: Your first and last name, your address details, your email address, as well as the product(s) you wish to order. We use this data to process your order. The information, you provide, will be securely stored in a period lasting five years from the date of purchase in accordance with Danish accountancy laws.
In case you have decided to subscribe to our newsletter, we will also be using your information for purposes of delivering the newsletter. We will then store your information, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
Notabene.dk uses log statistics. This means that we will collate statistics to determine, for example, which shoes and bags perform the best in terms of sales.
Note! The information you provide us when placing an order will under no circumstances be used for any other purposes.
USER PROFILE AND PERSONAL DATA
It is not necessary to create a user profile in order to make purchases through notabene.dk, just as it is not necessary to make a purchase on notabene.dk in order to create a user profile.
When you create a user profile on notabene.dk, we register a number of obligatory personal details in conjunction with your user profile. They are: Your first and last name, your address and your email address. We also log what products, if any, you purchase through notabene.dk.
The obligatory information is treated in the same way, as the details you provide when making a purchase (see section “Personal information and placing an order”). Furthermore we will use your email address to identify your user profile.
COOKIES AND IP-ADDRESS
Every time you visit Notabene, we will register the IP-address you access our site from. Your IP-address is the address of the particular device you are using to access notabene.dk. The IP-address is registered to ensure that Notabene can retrace the device in case of misuse or any illegal activities in conjunction with your visit to notabene.dk.
ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You can, at any time, send an email to notabene.dk in order to find out which of your personal data notabene.dk uses, what it is used for, who has access to the information and where the information comes from. Notabene.dk reserves the right to only answer such enquiries, if a period of six months has passed since your previous enquiry.
If you find that the information, notabene.dk keeps on you, is in any way incorrect or invalid, please contact us so we can rectify the situation.
DELETING OR BLOCKING YOUR USER PROFILE
You can, at any time, delete your notabene.dk user profile.
If you delete your notabene.dk user profile, we will, for accounting purposes, keep the obligatory information in a period of up to five years from the date of deletion (see section “Personal information and placing an order”). Following deletion, your profile will not be available to yourself or other users.
If you experience content on notabene.dk, that you find offensive, misleading or perhaps in direct conflict with the law, please contact us. We will then investigate the matter. You can always reach us via email on email@example.com or using any of the other methods described in the Contact section.
DISCLOSE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Notabene.dk will only pass on your personal information to a third party with your express permission, and to the extent described in these terms and conditions.
Notabene.dk reserves the right to disclose your personal data in connection with the transfer or assignment of the business Notabene.dk. The acquiring party will in this case be required to comply with the terms and conditions of the processing of personal data.
Notabene.dk is the data controller in relation to the information registered in conjunction with a purchase on notabene.dk and the obligatory information collected in conjunction with the creation of a user profile on notabene.dk as well as in conjunction with the registration of cookies and IP-address.
Notabene.dk uses an external partner to ensure the technical operation of notabene.dk. This partner processes data, for which notabene.dk is responsible.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you accept that notabene.dk stores your data for processing by the data processing partner.
The data processor acts only on instruction from notabene.dk. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also give notabene.dk full right to process the data on notabene.dk for which you are responsible. The data processor has taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to ensure, that information is not accidentally or illegally deleted, lost or impaired, as well as to ensure that the data will not be made available to any outside parties, that data will not be misused or in any other way handled contrary to the laws on personal data. On your request and upon the payment of the data processor’s given hourly rates, the data processor will provide you with sufficient information to prove that these security measures are enforced and valid.
