Busyness at work, calmness at home ☺
I find it really difficult but I have practiced a lot of yoga in recent years and without trying to sound too elevated, I can say that it really helps me to keep calm and to separate my work time and private time. I think I have improved at not being occupied with work when I am with my children or friends, even though it still happens sometimes – I think that when you run your own company it will naturally take up a lot of your time.
Yes - or maybe it’s not a turning point. But my husband and my two girls and our time in Paris is definitely a big part of who I am today. (I met my husband in Tokyo but he is from Paris where we have lived together for 15 years before moving to Copenhagen two and a half years ago.)
Colour and quality inspires me. I guess I am quite classic when it comes to trends. I have a ”basic style” that moves a bit in different directions – depending on the current trends. It is extremely important for me to buy products of good quality and I generally keep my things for a very long time.
I am also very inspired by sustainability. I know that it has become so trendy to mention sustainability but it is something that I have believed in for a long time and something that I try to incorporate both at home and in my business. It is a difficult thing to live by when you work in the fashion industry but I am sure that we will succeed both environmentally but also from a humane point of view.
