Notabene collects information about you when you actively enter information on the website, sign up for the newsletter, place an order and/or participate in competitions, and you will always be informed in connection with the collection of personal information about you. The personal data that we collect may include, for example, your name, your e-mail address, your private address, your telephone number and similar identification information, information about an online purchase and about your navigation on the website.
It will always appear in connection with the provision of information, whether the provision is voluntary or is necessary for the completion of the desired action, for example the completion of a purchase in our webshop.
Your personal data is collected in one or more of the following cases:
When you shop online at the webshop
When you sign up for our newsletter
When you enter your phone number
When you create a user account
When you enter a competition
Even if you use your email address in more than one of the above cases, your information will only be collected and registered in one place. This means that your information can, for example, be reused when you shop with us.
By entering your information and signing up for the newsletter, you give us consent that we can send you our newsletter. Only Notabene receives and has access to your information, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter.
By entering your phone number, you also give Notabene permission to send you SMS with information about news and other initiatives.
When you create an account with Notabene, your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable personal data legislation. This means that your personal data is treated confidentially. The purpose of collecting your information is to create an account for you, through which you can access your order history, save multiple delivery addresses and get through the checkout faster.
You can contact us at any time at webshop@notabene.dk and obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you. In addition, you can always ask us to correct incorrect information, delete or object to or limit the processing of your information. If you have any questions about the processing of your information, you are also welcome to contact the above email address or by telephone on +45 33 13 38 13.
If you want your account to be deleted, you can write an e-mail to webshop@notabene.dk at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. If you wish to complain about the processing of your data, you must contact the Danish Data Protection Authority.
Personal information is collected and used for the following purposes:
Execution of orders in our webshop
Subscribe to newsletter
Administration of user account
Participation in competitions or other events
Sending other marketing material, including invitations to events
Overview of purchase history
Statistics and analysis of traffic on the website
Registration for stock updates
We point out that the use of your personal data for sending marketing material will only take place if you have previously given your express consent.
The logs keep statistics on which areas of the website our users visit and which products are the users' favourites. This data does not contain personal data. With the help of the collected data, knowledge of the users' use of the website is obtained. This information is used to improve the website. We cannot see where you come from or surf the Internet to when you leave our site. We do not sell or otherwise pass on information about our users' use and navigation on our website, and we do not sell or pass on your purchase information to third parties.

Your personal data will not be passed on to a third party without your permission. However, under certain circumstances and in accordance with the law, it may be necessary to pass on information to public authorities or the police. For example, information can be passed on to the police in the event of suspected credit card fraud.
Information for use for product delivery is left to the shipping company we use. Likewise, your personal data is left to our business partners who provide services on behalf of Notabene, e.g. in connection with sending out newsletters. These partners only process the personal data on behalf of Notabene and in accordance with Notabene's instructions.
Your personal data is transferred to the USA, as Notabene uses services from Mailchimp, which has joined the so-called EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. The Commission has decided that the level of protection is sufficient in the United States when the companies have joined the Privacy Shield Framework. You can read more at www.privacyshield.gov.
We delete your personal data when we no longer need to process it for the fulfillment of one or more of the purposes stated above in the section on the use of personal data. However, the information can be processed and stored longer in anonymized form. Information that we process in connection with purchases is stored for 5 years in accordance with the rules in the Accounting Act.
